Bangkok, Thailand – NIST International School is excited to introduce the Pavilion Building, a groundbreaking addition to its campus designed to elevate educational excellence. Officially opened on 27 February 2025, this cutting-edge facility fosters creativity, collaboration, and community engagement. It features a state-of-the-art Lecture Hall, adaptable meeting spaces, and the inviting Pavilion Lounge, all aimed at enhancing student and faculty experiences.

More than just an architectural milestone, the Pavilion serves as a vibrant hub that reinforces NIST’s dedication to delivering world-class education. This development sets the stage for the school’s upcoming Elementary Buildings, scheduled to open in August 2025. These new facilities will include a custom-designed, two-level library and dedicated Makerspaces, further enriching the learning environment and expanding the school’s capabilities.
“The Pavilion symbolizes our ongoing commitment to creating outstanding learning spaces that inspire innovation and growth,” said Dr. James Dalziel, Head of School. “This facility is more than just a building—it’s a place where ideas take shape, collaboration flourishes, and the entire NIST community benefits.”
Founded in 1992, NIST International School is Bangkok’s first not-for-profit, fully accredited international school, offering the full International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. For more information, visit nist.ac.th or contact nist@nist.ac.th.
