The Canadian International School of Thailand (CIST), an IB World School, is located on a spacious 9.2-acre campus next to the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok’s Pinklao area. Established in 2017, the school shares its impressive facilities, including an all-weather sports complex, tennis courts, gymnasium, outdoor play areas, and specialist classrooms, with Thewphaingarm Canadian Bilingual School. This expansive campus provides students with a dynamic environment to excel both academically and physically.
CIST offers a Canadian-based education system divided into three sections: Early Years (Pre-K3 to Pre-K4), Elementary (KG to Grade 6), and Secondary (Grades 7 to 12). The school began with Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grade 7 classes and has grown steadily to nearly 200 students, expanding to Grade 11. In August 2022, CIST introduced its first Grade 12 class, allowing students to earn the prestigious Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). With a focus on academic excellence and holistic development, CIST prepares its diverse, international student body to succeed in higher education and beyond.
